Going on an expedition? The Millet Everest is an expedition boot for mountaineering in extreme cold. With 12 years of testing all over the world, no other integral gaiter expedition boot is as warm as the Everest. It has been used all over the world in the coldest of climes. It is used by the vast majority of Himalayan climbers.

Semi-rigid/shell boot with built in 3-layer Gore-tex gaiter and removable aluminized Alveolite liner. For 2008, the elasticized gaitor is Cordura reinforced with Aramid threads for greater durability. Additional layers of Evazote foam and material wrap the foot. Automatic crampons attach easily to plastic reinforced toe and heel sole. Internal Wide Velcro straps help hold the boot snug on your feet. There is a dual front zipper closure which makes the boot easy to put on, and a protective rubber coating on the heel and toe, It has a closed foam cell mid-sole for extra insulation. The shank and foot-bed is made of fiberglass and carbon instead of metal to increase warmth. Isothermal to û60 C/-75F, and it can be resoled. Sizes listed are UU sizes.
