This is a manual recreational skate version of the NNN integrated NIS binding system. Not only race skis have the Integral plate In fact some ski manufactures have moved 50% to 100% of their models to this system. IDesigned for the beginning too intermediate skater at a lesser price, iIt has fewer length adjustments but still has the benefits of the NIS integral system. The bindings are quickly and easily mounted directly onto the ski without screws. The longitudinal position of the bindings can be locked in 3 different positions, depending upon preference of the skier. The effect of the extra material and bonding is taken into consideration when designing the overall flex of the ski so that the skis flex the same as skis without the NIS technology. There is close contact between the ski and binding, which improves stability, ski control, and kick. Each skier can adjust the binding forward or back to adapt to individual technique, snow and waxing conditions, allowing for a relaxed and efficient skating style.
