The Domina is Scarpa's stiffest flexing, most powerful women's boot with a tour mode that allows the cuff to pivot. This year it got an Editor's Choice award. It is designed to be a hard charging no compromise free-ride backcountry randonnee boot. The Domina has a Vibram Ride sole that fits both DIN certified downhill bindings and all platform based Alpine Touring bindings. In addition there is an interchangeable Vibram lug Rally sole, which is safer and less slippery when used in more challenging backcountry situations. It has a Pebax plastic shell, 4 buckles, a power strap, and a lateral cant adjustment. The forward lean can be set at 19 or 23 degrees and "free". It comes with two tongues: the more aggressive ski tongue is on the boot, and the touring tongues are in the box. The dual density plastic foot shell and V-Frame power-ribs on the cuff optimize support and downhill performance. - 7 lbs. 7 oz. (Size 25)
