This year the new Zealot got a complete revamp. It is nothing like last year's Zealot. Now, it's not just a "hard man ski". Much like the changes in the new Verdict, It is more foregiving and easier to handle and initiate, yet is still the big-mountain, power through crud or powder, ski it has been. The Zealot now has a semi-rocker tip profile, which helps make it a more agile "everyman" all-mountain ski. A visible to the eye, Internal wall core construction of Popular, and Birch sidewalls produce more "POP" when rebounding into the next turn and an increased edge hold in harder snow conditions than last year. It is still designed to be an big-mountain, fat ski for the powerful skier. By blending Formula One Tech construction with BD's proven Dual Torsion Box technologies, the Zealot distributes edge pressure proportionally along the entire edge of the ski, which helps it hold on harder snow conditions. The wood core keeps it light for such a wide ski if you take it off piste. The newly designed Zealot is surprisingly versatile in the powder and it will surprise you on hard pack. The Zealot varies the width by size so that the ski performs equally for all weights of skier. If it felt like too much of a ski in the past, don't miss the new Zealot. - 9 lbs. 5 oz. (182 cm.)
