The Escape 9 is for those touring and track skiers looking for a comfortable, supportive, and lightweight classic boot. The Pilot 2 touring outsole has two bars linking you to the ski, which gives you significantly more torsional control, lateral stability, and increased power transmission. It also allows for a more natural forefoot roll when classic striding, and is more user friendly. The boot is attached to the binding at two points, at the toe and under the ball of the foot. This second link maintains a perfect alignment between the boot and the ski at all times, increasing its efficiency. An ergonomic supportive plastic cuff with a Velcro strap wraps the ankle for enhanced control. Sensifit overlapping construction allows the boot to fit a variety of foot widths by snugly wrapping the foot.
