Berkeley Store Rental Details
We have an extensive selection of equipment available for you to rent for your next adventure. Whether this is your first time out or you're just checking out some new gear, we rent the top of the line equipment we sell. We have a variety of equipment for all your outdoor pursuits.
RENTAL DETAILS
- Pick-up and drop-off days are not charged in the rental period.
- Reservations accepted with full payment and deposit up to 30 days in advance.
- Cancellations: refund only if cancelled more than 24 hour before pickup.
- Cancellations on day of pickup are subject to 3 day rental rate.
- A deposit using Mastercard or Visa is required for rental of all items.
- There is no refund on items returned early or not used.
- Items returned after the due date will be charged the additional DAILY LATE FEE for every day late.
- Cleaning and repair fees will be assessed on equipment returned in less than rentable condition at our shop rates.
- Crampons may be rented only if Marmot/Western fits the crampons to your boots at pickup time. Boots MUST be brought in for proper fitting.
- Marmot will rent crampons only to boots we deem stiff enough to accept crampons. Please verify ahead of time if there is any question about the suitability of the boots.
- 1-3 day rental rate is applicable to the purchase of comparable items in the following categories: SKI PACKAGE, SKIS, BOOTS, RANDONNEE BINDINGS, SLEEPING BAGS, TENTS, PACKS.
- Lost, stolen, not returned, or un-repairable items will be charged to renter¹s credit card on deposit at FULL RETAIL PRICE.
